jumaru Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 I updated my retail installation from 10.5.7 to 10.5.8 via downloaded update and after second restart i took the message "still waiting for root device".. I'm using a sata disks with chameleon rc2 640. my mobo is Gigabyte p35 ds4. i'm using an Atapi dvd-rom (Nec) not a sata but never had problem with that.. I haven't problem to update to 10.5.8..because snow is coming.. but why not?
