B_ogbrush Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Hi This is my second attempt at an OSx86 installation. The first, a dual boot on my home built machine with Vista and Kaliway 10.5.2. The Kaliway installation went well with only the BIOS and sound system having to be patched. My attention has now switched to my laptop an Advent 8117. Full specification here I have installed iAtkos v7 and am pleased to say that after a couple of re-installs I have a 99% working installation. My only problem is the WiFi card will not work. The card is a Ralink RT73 with a RT 2571WF chipset which is recognized by System Profiler as a USB device 802.11 BG WLAN with the following information: Product ID: 0x2573 Vendor ID: 0x148f Version: 0.01 Speed: Up to 480 Mb / Sec Manufacturer: Ralink Location ID: 0xfd300000 I have tried kext's from here but the card is still not recognized. Can anyone help me in getting this card working?
