somoneybaby
I'm pretty good with iPC installations but I've never come across an issue like this. The cd won't boot. It just sits at the apple logo. I booted with -V but I see no kernal panics, just sits at: USBF: 1.152 AppleUSBOHC1[ox4f47000]::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep Sometimes if I boot -v -x, it stops one more line after that at: Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIThermal" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0 Anyone experience anything like this? I've randomly disabled things in the BIOS but nothing seems to be working. You could try a few other boot flags cpus=1 or maxmem=4096 I just had a iPC build with 8B of RAM that I couldn't get going without maxmem=4096 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180648-ipc-cd-wont-boot/#findComment-1230250 Share on other sites
