I'm pretty good with iPC installations but I've never come across an issue like this. The cd won't boot. It just sits at the apple logo. I booted with -V but I see no kernal panics, just sits at:

USBF: 1.152 AppleUSBOHC1[ox4f47000]::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep

Sometimes if I boot -v -x, it stops one more line after that at:

Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIThermal" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0

Anyone experience anything like this? I've randomly disabled things in the BIOS but nothing seems to be working.

You could try a few other boot flags cpus=1 or maxmem=4096

I just had a iPC build with 8B of RAM that I couldn't get going without maxmem=4096

I tried cpus=1 and my computer only has 4GB of ram.

Dell Studio XPS 1640

Intel Core2 Duo @ 2.40gz

4GB Ram

64 Bit Vista

Radeon HD4670

500GB Sata Hard drive

Remember, I can't even get the CD to boot. I have yet to try installing anything.
