post install problem on 10.5.8

so i installed 10.5.8 on my asus eee pc 1005ha after buying a netgear wg111v3 (which works beautifully) but now on when i use verbose booting im stuck @ this screen:

 

"MAC Framework successfully initialized"

"using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers"

 

its just hangs...any ideas?
