gazfocus
I have installed OSX10.5.8 using the Boot-132 method and had to delete all graphics kexts, etc to get my ATI Radeon HD3650 to work. However, I can only get output through the DVI connector and not the VGA. Is there a way to get the VGA port working in addition to the DVI so I could run dual displays? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180625-dual-monitors-on-a-radeon-3650/ Share on other sites

gazfocus
hi also i have the 3650 with dvi and vga port but for i wasn't able to get work my graphic card can u tell me wich drivers on procedure u have used to get the graphic card work please??? Here's what I did: - 1. Installed OSX10.5.1 with the Boot-132 method and installed my motherboard drivers, etc/ - 2. Installed the OSX10.5.8 combo update from Apple - This rendered the HD3650 graphics card useless as it just displayed some rubbish black/white garbled screen. - 3. Took out my HD3650 and swapped it for an old card just to get OSX to boot - 4. Go to: System/Library/Extensions and delete ALL files starting with ATI, ALL files starting with GeFo and ALL files starting with NV. Also delete Natit.kext. - 5. Go to: System/Library and delete Extensions.mkext - 6. Reboot machine, and install this driver. - 7. Reboot machine and it should work - however, only the DVI port displays a picture at the moment.
