Matt K.
Well, I was about ready to purchase a Dell Mini 10v, but I've been doing a lot of shopping around and found a potentially much better system. It's basically a Toshiba Satellite with the guts of a netbook: 15.4-inch screen, integrated DVD-RW, the whole shebang. On the face of it, this sort of hybrid netbook is one hell of a lot better than my original choice. But here's what will make or break the deal for me: will it run Leopard? By the way, I did check the HCL, but it doesn't appear very complete and I'm having trouble finding entries. Has anyone in the community tried Hackintoshing a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5955 - and if so, how's it working for you? If not, can someone knowledgeable in the ways of OSx86 take a look at these tech specs and let me know if it's likely to work or not? Thanks!! TECH SPECS CPU: Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz Video: Intel GMA 4500M w/ 128MB dedicated memory Memory: 2GB DDR2 SDRAM Hard Drive: 160GB SATA Display: 15.4-inch widescreen with TruBrite Media: Integrated 24x CD-RW / DVD-RW combo drive Battery: 6-cell lithium ion (2.8 hours) Wireless: 802.11b/g WLAN antenna, Ethenet Other: Integrated mic (no webcam) I can probably track down some more information if needed, but ... what do you think? Is this $330 uber-netbook compatible with OS X, or is it a no go? Matt K.
iDeneb, eh? I've never really looked into that, but I'm downloading the DVD of it now. So everything - sound, video, wi-fi, et all - works fine? What customization settings should I use when installing? Thanks for your help!!
