10.5.6 retail install issues on GA-EX58-UD4P

Hi guys,

 

Noob here, I am doing a retail install of 10.5.6 on the following system and having issues:

 

MB: GA-EX58-UD4P

 

CPU: Core i7 Processor

 

RAM:3 X2 GB Corsair DDR-3 RAM

 

HDD:Seagate 500 GB HD

 

Graphics:XFX Radeon HD 4850 Video

 

Staging drive is a seagate 1.5 TB HD with Kalyway 10.5.2. Installed without issues. I used DD's method to install from the 10.5.6 retail DVD. I ran the EX 58 mobo install scripts and everything seemed like it installed ok. When I rebooted I got the "You need to restart your computer" error message.

 

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting this one ?
