Middleman
Been installing OSX86 on two separate machines (Asus P5VD2-VM with Nvidia 9800GT and Lenovo A39 with Nvidia 7500 LE), and I've had success with one of them (on the Asus, including working ethernet + +graphics + sound on Soundmax AD1986) with LSL's install method. With installing the Lenovo, I'd been trying pcwiz's Slimboot132 GUI, but I'd been having loads of problems getting it to work. Whenever I burned a disk after completing a kext build, the slimboot132 disk, once booted in the machine (any, including the Asus) always ends up with the comments 'Attempting to check CPU multiplier) and the machine restarts. Now I have installed 10.5.6 on the drive via LSL's external method, but I still can't get access to the install, and I am wondering if it's to do with the Slimbuild program being faulty. Has anyone had this before? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180567-has-anyone-tried-using-slimboot-gui/ Share on other sites
