After reboot the "<appname> requires you to type in your password" dialog works properly but after some time , when it is needed , it doesn't appear. In those cases I'm also unable to login as guest (switch user) (it hangs up on the Aurora wallpaper after I chose user). Beerkex'd Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Try creating a new user account? If it works, then move all your stuff over and delete your old account. Or maybe it's one of those things that can be fixed by cleaning out all the caches. I use AppleJack or Leopard Cache Cleaner.
