dinokent
Hi all, I have setup my Lenovo X60 with iDeneb v1.4 (OSX 10.5.6), and update to 10.5.7 successfully. Since my X60 BIOS was locked with some Wifi card, I have hacked it by using a craxked bios and I can successfully pass and boot up with Apple original Airport card. While I extract the 2 kexts (IO80211Familty.kext and IONetworkFamily.kext) from AirportExtremeUp2008004.dmg and install with Kext helper b7, the ethernet was not function after reboot !!! Here are the both network's information catpure from OSX86tools. 02:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller [8086:109a] 03:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter [168c:001c] (rev 01) Under system profiler, it said the Intel ethernet controller's driver was not installed!!! I search over this forum and found I may need the ethernet driver AppleIntel8255x.kext, I found out my system won't have this driver so I download and install it again, it still won't work after reboot. Even, I have tried some ways like add the 0x109a8086 into IOMatchName but no help. Do anyone can share your experience on how to let me work with both Ethernet and Wifi ? By the way, I am very appreciated that I got lots of help from all of you and make my X60 can setup with OS X !!! Thank you!!! Thank you very much!
