Nerv322 Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 Hello, I am new to this Forum and unofficial cider ports and I am looking to gather as much information as I can. I do not own a mac but my friend does I plan to install Kane's Wrath on his CPU. I will be giving him my PC version of the game/serial key and purchasing a new version for my self if piracy is an issue on these forums. I have downloaded a cider port version of Kane's wrath that includes CnC3 (which my friend already owns on the mac) so it is a standalone version. I am unsure how this works, it is a DMG disk image file so mounting this on virtual drive should work. I just want to know will this prompt installation? Or will it run the game as if it is installed? If it runs as is, at what point will you input the serial? I herd Online play is possible but is there an issue with patch's? Will the Auto Updater work on this version? If not, is it possible to extract the patch file and patch the game manually? if so how is this done?
