fd3smaniac
When i boot up from the DVD of Ideneb 1.5.1 and then press a key the mac screen comes up and then the pinwheel and thats all it does. the disc drive will keep spinning but the computer does nothing else. I waited about 5 minutes for the blue ideneb screen and nothing. When i went into diag mode by pressing F8 and then typing -v it went through a process for about 1 minute and then it stopped. after about 30-45 second of waiting it said still waiting on root "something" i forgot what it said exactly but im sure it only says one thing for the people who have seen what im talking about. I dont know if when i burned the DVD i did something wrong, or if im doing something wrong on the install. Please help me out if you can. Computer is an HP pavillion with vista AMD turion 64 x2 mobile TL_52 1024mbytes and about 105GB of free space right now. Thanks in advance. I suggest you google search your problem, most likely you will need an IDE DVDRW. Try to run with -x -v platform=X86PC If it doesn't work disable ACPI & turn RAID MODE to AHCI, thats what fixed it for me.
