Hi, I'm going slightly mad trying to install a dual boot system with iatkos v7.

I have created a 15gb ntfs partition for os, but when I start installing, the system is unable to mount my hdds (status code 0x0000047). When I get into 'select a destination' the screen is completely blank, and although I can see my drives in disk utilities they are greyed out. If I try to erase them they remain unmounted.

I think it may be something to do with my chipset not being supported. I'm a bit of a novice though and would be very grateful if someone could help!

My spec:

Gigabyte vm900m motherboard

Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2160 @1.80ghz

VIA p4900m igp chipset

Award Software f4 bios

Also, I read that maybe I needed to find a patch for my chipset, which I have, then install the os to an external hdd, patch it from there and then clone back to my internal. Maybe I'm being dense but I can't work out how to install to an external as I can't mount my drives there either and the patch I've got is an apple file so would have to applied from within leopard, no??? What can I do?!
