xXFL4WL3Ss Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 hellooo I'm new to insanelymac and just found out that you can run os x on pc so I signed up,btw I have a Gateway FX P-6831,here are the specs: -Intel Core 2 Duo 5450 CPU 1.67 GHz -3 GB DDR2 RAM -250 GB HDD 5400 RPM -Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTS 512 MB GDDR3 -17" 1440x900 display -Windows Vista Home Premium I just wanna understand everything before installing anything just to not mess up anything can you install a patched OS X leopard verison off the internet and use virtual clone drive to install it on my pc instead of burning it into a dvd?if not than how do I do this?? and after installing is everything gonna work...WiFi?sounds?you know everything else??? btw I've been searching the past 2 days on how to do this but no luck so far... thank you guys for taking your time to read my post and I hope you guys will help me. J.B Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 not to be rude but thats really not the attitude to have on these forums, especially when taking on a challenge like a hackintosh, im fairly new to this whole thing as well but after TRIAL AND ERROR i have a working hackintosh, everyones problems are going to be slightly different, you will just have to find kexts and patches to get round them, and if you had googled at all you would have found various ways of getting a hackintosh using different methods and distros, also look at past post to see if they can help you hope that helps!
