I had my PC for a while with just Mac OS X Leopard. Then I put another hard drive in it so I could put windows 7 on it. I had that for an even longer time with no problems. Could dual boot and everything (with Chameleon boot loader.)

Here is the problem. I wanted to test out Ubuntu Linux. So I installed it over top of windows 7 deleting it permanently. So I restarted the computer to see this new boot loader (GRUB) which doesn't support mac. So I was looking into another system that had a boot loader that supported mac.

I saw another one called Zenwalk which uses a boot loader called LILO which I thought would load my mac, but it didn't even see it just like GRUB. So when I installed it, it wrote the master boot record (mbr) to that hard drive with the mac leopard (the first hard drive in the computer.)

All I want now is to be able to load my mac again and have windows on the other hard drive. I can't find out how to get into my mac. Is there an iso of a boot disk so I can burn it to a cd to let me be able to boot into mac?

I just want to load my mac so I can load chameleon to dual boot windows and mac again. I really need help. All of my files are on that system. Please help. Thanks!

P.S. I can boot into windows, and I already tried a program called EasyBCD to let me boot into mac, but it gave me an error. I know my mac is there cuz I can see it in my partition manager live cd.

What was the EasyBCD error? Are you using EasyBCD 1.7.2? Is your Mac HDD partitioned as GPT or MBR?

The error happened after I made an entry in easybcd for mac. I restarted and tried to boot and said something close to this. /NST/nst_mac.mbr is missing or corrupt. I can't even get back into easybcd anymore cuz when I start easybcd an error window pops up with the message (red cross on the side): "EasyBCD has detected that your BCD boot data and MBR are either not from the latest version of Windows vista, or don't yet exist. If you would like Easy BCD to correct these issues press OK....." Even after I press OK, EasyBCD is unable to fix the problem. And I have tried all of the versions and none of them work. I don't know if my mac is partitioned mbr or gpt. I just would like to boot back into my mac... Thanks. Can you help me?
