A Nonny Moose
Yes our favorite court district is at it again! This time, though, they have targeted Microsoft while Apple breathes a small sigh of relief. So what is the patent for? An idea on how to read XML files--something Word does. Now the court in Texas (any time you hear about the courts in Texas, you should just shudder)...has FORBIDDEN Microsoft from selling Microsoft Word! Of course this company named i4i makes stuff to help with XML in Word. While Microsoft is appealing this ruling, they can't sell Word and if the verdict stands must pay $290 million in damages.
