stefuNz
Hey, everything seems to be working fine, but i'm having some trouble setting up multiboot. This is what i did, used Parted Magic 3.7 to create a msdos / mbr partition table for my Samsung HD642JJ S-ATA drive... (SATA as AHCI) it's like this: 1. 50 GB NTFS (Windows 7) 2. 50 GB HFS+ (Mac OS X) 3. 150 GB for several shared stuff, 2 4. External partition -> 2 logical with 150 GB each in there. ... ntfs Then i installed Windows 7, then Mac OS X (iDeneb 1.5, 10.5.7), updated to 10.5.8 And here's the deal: When i boot, there's only this blinking cursors "_" " " "_" " " and so on. i only get into mac os x, by booting with iDeneb... and chameleon 2.0 RC 2 is installed. i really don't get, why it doesn't show up anything! i even looked in parted magic 3.7, if the mac os x partition was not active, but it has the boot flag! so if you guys know anything, go ahead thanks stefuNz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180223-windows-7-ideneb/ Share on other sites
AntarcticP
Hi, put your Windows 7 DVD back in the DVD drive, boot from it and normally you choose the option to "Repair your computer". After this, remove the DVD and boot --> you will directly boot into Windows 7. Download EasyBCD: http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 Install and read on website how to set up a dual boot with the Windows 7 (or Vista) bootloader. Succes ! Synaesthesia
I recommend EasyBCD 2.0 beta - you have to register on this forum to get it but it's free & easy and totally worth it. http://neosmart.net/forums/showthread.php?t=642 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180223-windows-7-ideneb/#findComment-1228453 Share on other sites

mmhardky
Hi, can you maybe rewrite the stuff from the beginning? I would like to install Ideneb 10.5.7 and Win & fresh on a single HDD, using just 2 partitions. Can anyone help?
