Acidic Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 hey all, so if anyone read my previous posts i accidentally updated leopard using software update. i had been running retail before, i actually got mac to boot , but under sound there is no audio device, i assume the audio drivers are gone. ive been searching everywhere for drivers, i tried installing applehda.kext hdaenabler.kext as well as the alc 882 applehda.kext. mpkg I'm currently using a p5w dh deluxe, if you could pleassssssssseeeeeee help me with this. thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180219-help-please/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Acidic Posted August 21, 2009 Author Share Posted August 21, 2009 no i have not deleted any other audio kexts, or repaired permissions, im guessing thats my problem. is that code to repair permissions? i guess ill try installing that mpkg first then using the code? should i go into extentions deleting the audio kexts, then install the package over? then repair permissions?
