poker_&_peeker
Hello to the community, The title pretty much says it all, but where to start, what version of the modified disc do I use , will my hardware even work ? these are the questions I was wanting to ask before I try it out, so i guess the first thing I should do is list my hardware and I can go from there. also if some one else has or is using an install based on my hardware could you please kind of give me some pointers if it is not too much trouble ?. I have been reading the forums for about a week now and some things make sense but a lot of others do not. my system specs as per the Mobo Manual: Asus P5GC-MX/1333 (probably too low end for this) CPU: LGA775 core 2 duo (E4500 @ 2.2 GHZ total) chipset : NorthBridge: Intel 945GC SouthBridge ICH7 front side bus: 800 (default current) Memory: 2 GBs of 667 dual channel Ram DDR 2 internal Video: Intel GMA 950 (unused) storage : Western Digital SATA HDD 160 GB Video card: PCI based Nvidia 5500 FX (really old, I know but I am getting a New PCI-E Card soon) Bios: latest from Asus External Hardware on this machine: Internet connection is: Belkin Wireless N1 Mimo router through a USB N wireless connector. web cam: Logitech 1.3 Megapixel quick cam with built in microphone. I have tried to install without success the following versions of Mac OS X: 1. iDeneb (kept telling me it could not complete setup reason unknown) 2. iAtkos (same result as iDeneb) 3. kaliway (installed but then the screen turned black with white writting telling me to reboot) the next one I was going to try was IPC 10.5.6 but I wanted to get some info on it or see if someone with the same or similar hardware has tried it then I could use the same method as them to install it on mine. thanks in advance to all of the folks here, who may or may not be able to help me.
