Iv Tried So Much, But Never Get It Right, Please help

my system:

 

MoBo: GA-MA770-UD3

Procc: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.70ghz

Ram: 2 Gigs

VC: Nvidia 7300 LE

SC:Audigy Value 2

North Chipset: AMD 770

South Chipset: AMD SB700

Onboard Audio(I dont use):Realtek ALC888

Onboard Lan(i use): Realtek 8111C

Running Sata Hard Drive, & Dvd Drive

 

Tryed:

 

Ideneb 1.4:

 

First: I couldn't get the install to even boot, after setting up the Sata stuff in my bios, It booted and I began to dance, Little did I know...

Second: I installed fully, With Voodoo 9.5, & Seatbelt

( I picked those to because on the compatibility list on the OSx86 Wiki, People that had similar Mobo's To mine picked those, I never found anybody using my exact Mobo)

 

I picked my Graphic Drivers, I believe the Njector First, But also Tried the other Nvidia Drivers) I read people talking about using a driver that worked with all cards in Ideneb, but Its not in my Ideneb Dvd,

 

I didn't pick a sound driver because I didn't know what to pick for audigy 2 value, so I thought I would pick it up later.

 

after doing this setup, it finished, and rebooted, I saw the welcome video, put my info in, and loads to the desktop, the icons at the bottom pop up, and the top menu comes out, but has a see thru look to it, because then and there it freezes, I let it sit for awhile and nothing, Depressing, you have no idea how happy I was when i saw those icons pop up, I mean come on who wouldnt think it was working.

Third: So i looked around online, and everyone said it was the video drivers, so I didn't install the video drivers, and did the rest, it installs fine, but then freezes at the grey screen with the apple and the circle spinning under it.

Another Problem: I can never get the OSX partition active, I tried a guide online using fdisk, with terminal inside the dvd after booting it, could never get it done, and I know i had the drive, and partition numbers right, along with what the guide said to do. So I dunno what to do, I am in windows 7 right now on that same hard drive, so maybe i can use something in windows to make it active.

 

Forth: So I posted a post asking for help, and if there was a Distro with something better for what I was trying to do, it was late and the only reply I got was telling me iATKOS was a better distro for my setup, I said ok w/e i will try.

 

So I D/L iATKOS v7, install booted fine, selected the voodoo, because I don't know much else, there was no seat belt so I couldnt select that, I selected one of the nvidia drivers, sorry don't remeber was tired, didn't write it down, picked chamelion 3 or w/e, and some other stuff, installed fine, installation finished, I rebooted, and It starts loading at the grey screen, and stays there, doesn't freeze up, circle keeps spinning, but nothing loads, soooo

 

Fifth: I formated again, also I formated the drive with all of those installs with the legacy install or w/e its called, sorry for the w/e's n what not, just so frusterated and as you can see I am frusterated been trying these for months, and finally got the install booting, about 24 hours ago, so yeah, anyway

 

Formated, Selected voodoo, no chamleon 3, no vid drivers just in case, and just the stuff I thought I needed, and it didn the exact same thing.

 

So this is what I come to ask, can someone please Tell me what distro to choose, and what drivers to install, and whatever else I need to know, or what else can help me.

 

Im sorry for the long post, and I hate bothering people, I like to do this stuff on my own, as with windows I can install and just about anything all day long, so Im not used to needing help. So im sorry for being the noob, and what not, but I would be so thankful for just some help, this seems to be a good community, and I would love to become a regular member, with being a user of 0S X, so thank you
