tsoifamily
Hi everyone, I've got a new lenovo y450a and want to install iatkos v7, with loads of trial and error, I kind of get the system running. However, the internet is never working no matter trying all the suggestions from the forum. I would like to tackle the wired first, which is Broadcom 5784M (checked from ID, although the computer says it as Netlink Gigabit Ethernet)(my ID is 14e4:1698 instead of 14e4:169c). I tried using the bcm578X from iatkos distro, but nothing was good. Then installed bcm5787m and change the MAC address and device ID, but still no connection. I also tried changing things in bcm5701ethernet but failed. I'm getting desperate since I need to get the computer done by the end of august! Can anyone out there help me??? my config: ATTENTION: name and ID doesn't match, it is supposed to be Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet, but the ID is 14e4:1698, so I would think the device as 5784M instead. for full spec, you may follow this link(although I don't recommend going there since mine is different): http://shopap.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/contr...D7B9605246CA75A on the other hand, my wireless is Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN, and apparently there's no driver for it, so i'll wait...
