The Finale of Seem
I have an Intel DX58SO up and running 10.5.7 and it's working wonderfully. The only sore spot is sleep issues. I've monkeyed around with it and changed the sleep state in the terminal, but that only helps some of the time. Sometimes it pops right out of sleep, sometimes I get 5 seconds of static before it gives me video (GTX 285), and a couple of times it hasn't gone past the static. If the USB shuts off and it goes into deep sleep, then it wont wake up at all. I'm wondering if there are any additional sleep fixes for this board or just in general. Googon
try disabling speedstep in your bios. that fixes a lot fo sleep/wake issues. it won't slow down your processor, it just makes it so less/more power goes to your processor when it is in sleep mode to save battery power. diabling this will make you boot a lot faster. I did that when I first set this thing up as the guide recommended disabling numerous power-saving features. I guess they can play hell with the OS sometimes.
