Piotrekk Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Hallöchen, habe mir vor einigen Tagen zusätzlichen RAM gekauft, doch währte die Freue leider nicht lange... Hatte bis jetzt 4 GB RAM, wollte auf 8 GB aufrüsten, leider verlief das nicht ohne Probleme... Mal fährt das System nicht hoch (bzw. nur bis zum hellblauen Bild), mal fährt es hoch, es gibt aber Probleme mit der Stabilität (die Softwareaktualisierung stürzt reproduzierbar bei der Suche nach neuen Updates ab...). Baue ich die zusätzlichen 4 GB wieder aus, läuft das System wieder wie geschmiert Die RAM-Riegel sind in Ordnung (mehrmals getestet). Woran kann es liegen? Piotrekk Posted September 6, 2009 Author Share Posted September 6, 2009 Ich hole den Thread mal hoch, da es mittlerweile SL gibt und es immer mehr in Richtung 64 Bit Suport geht... Mein Problem lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass Leo auf AMD-Systemen in reinem 32Bit Modus läuft, von daher die Probleme mit mehr als 4 GB RAM. Wie siehts mit SL aus? Habe von dem modbin-Kernel gelesen - läuft dieser im 32- oder 64Bit Modus?
