I have now been reading your forum for a few days taking a few notes and I think I am ready to build my hackintosh. I currently own an Intel Macbook, and a copy of the retail Leopard DVD, for a little over two years now. My desktop recently died and I am interested in building a trouble free Hackintosh. Over my research and due to the limited availability provided by local suppliers this is the hardware setup I was planning to go with and I want to ask for your comments before i proceed: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L, Socket 775, Chopset Intel P45, FSB 1600Mhz, 4x DDRII 1366+Mhz, PCI-E 16x 2.0, SATA II, 1 Gbite network Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300, 2.8 Ghz (Wolfdale), Double core, S 775, etc, etc, etc... Memory: Kingston 2GB DDRII DIMM's PC2-6400 (800 Mhz) x 2 ea = 4MB Hard disk: Western Digital 500 GB Caviar SE16, SATA II DVD Writer: LG GH22NS50 Super Multi -22X DVD-RW, SATA Video card: XFX nVidia GeForce 9800GT - 512MB Please if you have any comments that can spare me installation head aches, or installation guides I should look at I will deeply appreciate any help provided.
