UPDATE: Managed to install Leo4All V4, worked like a charm, but then I restarted the notebook and when I try to boot in Verbose mode I get the following:

CODE SIGNING: cs_invalid_page: p=94[mdworker] clearing cs_valid

The other line that might be of interest is

... kextd[10]: IOKitWaitQuiet() timed out waiting to write kernel symbols

Then I managed to reduce the boot time by following this topic

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...mp;#entry987152

But I still get the message:

System config file '/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found most of the times I try to boot.

Hey guys, I have a HP DV6458SE (nForce Chipset, AMD Turion X2 TL-60) notebook and I managed to install iDeneb v1.5.1 10.5.7 without much trouble. Deleted the partitions I had on the HD, created a Mac OS Extended Journaled single partition and installed the OS on it without any problems.

The thing is, now that the OS is installed, my notebook just resets as it tries to boot the OS X. Sometimes I even see the Apple logo on a white screen and then the computers restarts.

If I press ESC and select to boot from the Hard Drive, I get the Darwin/x86 boot v5 - Chameleon v2 screen, then I have the option to press a key to enter startup options. If I do, I have the following:

Boot, Boot Verbose, Boot Ignore Caches, Boot Single User, Memory Info, Video Info and Help

Not one of the boot options work, keeps resetting the notebook and starting all over again.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening? I've tried searching, but didn't have much success.

Thanks for the help.

Reinstalled, this time choosing different driver options, here's what's happening now

Normal boot (When I leave the system to boot by itself)

Black screen, then some retangles shows up below the middle of the screen and start moving to the left, looping over one another

If I press ESC and choose to boot from the HD, I have to option to select the boot type, if I select Boot, the Apple logo screen just keeps running.

If I try Verbose Mode, it locks with the following:

AppleNForceATA::free( 0x4637c00 )

and just hangs there for ever.

I tried to follow a guide from someone else who had a HP DV6000 series notebook, but many of his options doesn't appear in the version of iDeneb I'm using, so I don't really know what to do.

I read the warnings, and it says

# If you have based on AMD and/or SSE2 you must select an alternative kernel, advised kernel Qoopz 9.7.0;

So I tried that this last time and didn't seem to work very well. I didn't select the AMD Patch also, since it says not to select it if I use Qoopz kernel.

I'll be trying it again without selectiong the Qoopz kernel (Not sure if I have to select the AMD thingie or another kernel) and the NForceATA test.
