belgrano
1. what version of osx did u use? 2. what chipset do u have? 3. what hdd do u use (ATA or SATA)? For more details, on boot screen type -v and see what messages do you get. 2 hours? Are you kidding? I install mine in 20 minutes. emehrkay
did you choose customize when you install it and select AMD package? if you are as dumb and blind as me, maybe you missed that button yeah i definitely did miss that option. so i formatted the drive made the apporiate choices, amd and intel and choose not to install printer drivers etc. and now i think i get a panic. when it loads its shows a whole bunch of things loading then it goes to a screen where it tells me my cpu specs and it says debugger mode: <panic> sorry guys, yeah its the hotiso. i got it from alt.binaries.cd yesterday thanks for the help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17951-tiger6-wont-load/#findComment-116980 Share on other sites
giraid
I dont think you should select the intel package, and only AMD SSE2 package, try to find the guide JaS posted on the web. belgrano
...sorry guys, yeah its the hotiso. i got it from alt.binaries.cd yesterday ... AFAIK HOTiSO is not 10.4.6 but 10.4.4 therefore there might be issues related to your mobo chipset (possibly nForce). You will find a 10.4.6 iso made by JaS on The Pirate Bay or on Demonoid.
