dementho Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Hey guys, today I bought the following Hackintosh system: - Gigabyte EP45-UD3L - Quad Core Q9550 - Gigabyte Geforce 9500GT 1GB - 4GB 1066 OCZ ACR RAM - 1TB Western Digital HD I would like to know how to install OS X on that system. I installed OS X on my Netbook 1000HE recently and everything is working great. So I know the prceodure. I just need to know if I need extra kext files for a working system with that compilation. I have an iDeneb 10.5.5 Installation DVD and hope you can help me out how the installation procedure with that is ( use which kext files and which not). thanks for that... I have the same board and had been using 10.5.6 XXXOSx Install CD / 10.5.7 with web updateable OSX to 10.5.8 via iatkos CD. For the first time I tried to install Snow Leopard on this mobo and got it working except for the sound. I found this motherboard very flexible to Hackintosh only problem is sound in Snow Leopard. It was working perfectly in 10.5.x. If you need any help or kext for this motherboard just PM me. I will be glad to share it with you. I am also preparing a guide how to install Snow on this motherboard and will post it very soon. Just wana enable sound first.
