ainsleyclark
Hi there, I have been taking a look for a fix on the resolution on a dv6000 (hp) and stumbled across this thread. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...109241&st=0. If you take a look at the first post the guy claims he fixes it but installing 3 kexts: NVDriver.kext NVidia.kext NVinjectGo.kext and he also says to "Remove IONDRVSupport.kext from /System/Library/Extensions folder." I did this and then rebooted, now I cant boot the thing at all, it gets stuck at boot cache avoidance time out. I have tried to delete the kexts so many times with the rm -rf method but its not working. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated System Specs: Computer: HP Pavillion dv6500 (Laptop) MOBO: Quanta 650F Chipset: NVIDIA nForce 560 CPU: AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile TL-58 Internal HD: ST9160821AS ATA Device External HD: Western Digital 1tB (USB2) Partition: Partition on EXT HD called MAC OSX Current OS: Windows Vista Home Premium Graphics Card: NVIDIA MCP67M.
