sedd900 Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 trying to install ideneb 1.5.7 for the past 2 days.i tried using the vanilla and also tried voodoo kernel several times but when it restarts i remove the cd and then my hard disk is not detected i tried patching the dvd also it still doesnt work my confing is asus m4n78 am3/am2 + motherboard 4gb ram ddr 2 amd phenom 9550 agena 2.2ghz 4x512kb l22 cache asus geforce gtx 260 896 mb 448 bit gddr3 pci express 2.0 can anyone tell me what do i have to select while customising likewhich kernel ,and patches .Aslo is it required to remove the dvd after the reboot? and do i need to select cameleon 1.02 or cameleon 2 kindly do help if anyone can .im struggling for the past 3 days Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179465-trying-to-install-osx-do-help-me-please/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ideneb 1.5 has problems with nForce chipsets. abkratch Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 To find if your hardware is the problem, do an install without selecting any unselected drivers/kexts. this is the best way to tell if its your hardware. Also if problems consist try a different hard drive if you have one readily available. And should i remove the dvd when it restarts the pc or shud i leave it in to proceed?
