Preventing Sleep?

Hello,

 

Is there any way to prevent system from sleeping when I closed the cover? I'm currently using Asus M2N, but everytime I closed the cover, it will sleep. What worse, when I need to use it again, I open the cover. but there is no way to wake it up, even by using power button! All I can do is press the power button for 5 sec. to shut it down.

 

So I want to know is there anyway to prevent it sleeping (I tried platform=X86PC, it will turns off ACPI support, but by this way, My Audio AC97 Codec will gone, too..). or just a solution how to wake it up from sleeping.
