i have a imedia x2416 packard bell pc.

trying to build a hackintosh out of it, with full on problems!!!

can anyone assist as i really do dislike windows!!!!

also i have maudio delta 1010lt professional studio soundcard, which i know on Mac is not supported as its PCI, but is there anyone who has patched a driver for this??

i cannot get it to install, boot or even do anything other than hit darwin and reboot.

i have tried virtually every hack version out there, and im now getting very frustrated.

Hi - first of all, go into your BIOS and ensure AHCI is turned on. That done, get iDeneb installed with any extensions you're going to need.

Unfortunately I haven't worked out how to get all 4 cores of my Core 2 Quad working, but I got a successful boot by adding these flags:

mach_kernel cpus=2

You only get 2 cores, but it'll at least get the machine working until I find a fix for that - when I do I'll let you know.

Drivers-wise, use nvinject.kext for the NVidia graphics card (google it) and head here:

http://www.audio-evolution.com/drivers/

for your Delta101lt. Be sure you dowload Envy24.0.20.0.dmg (scroll down a bit). This driver works perfectly on my system, and is billed as being confirmed working with the 1010lt so it's a safe bet.

Good luck dude!
