Sporadic IO Problems

In the Moment I am running my Box with a BootThink USB Dongle and following kexts:

 

AppleDecrypt.kext

Disabler.kext

OpenHaltRestart.kext

RealtekR1000.kext

UUID.kext

 

I also use the DSDT.aml (which can be found at the efixusers.com forum) kindly patched by AsereBML for my motherboard and following com.apple.Boot.plist:

Everything seems to work fine, except one thing. I do have very sporadic IO issues. I also had them with my setup with Chameleon RC1 setup. From time to time it happens that copied or moved data get's corrupted. It seems to happen really seldom, but it happens. I installed X-Plane 9 today and had at about 1-2 write errors on every DVD during the installation process. The installer copies the content of 6 DVDs to a temporary folder and then extracts temporary files (.7z archives) to the installation folder. Nicely it gives an error message on every file which can't be extracted to the target directory, so I could do in manually without any problems. So it seems not be related to any file system context (rights, space, ...). It just seem to happen randomly.

 

I also realised the problem after copying around some big .dmg image files during different installation retries. Some of them got broken, but the most worked fine afterwards...

 

Has anybody realised similar problems? I am a bit afraid about corrupting my data during continuing using my Mac OS X installation (which is a vanilla installation except AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext for my ACL Soundchip)...
