Hi, I'm brand new to the world of Mac and I recently downloaded the pcwiz's vmware OS X Leopard image which is version 10.5.2. I can use this virtual machine right now without any problems so my CPU etc are all compatible and my vmware workstation 6.5.1 works great as a Mac. When I wanted to update to 10.5.8 official combo pack, no matter what I tried, it failed. I tried regular updating (This got me up to 8% in install). I tried netkas.org methods by using disabler and dsmos files (This got me up to 92%). I tried deleting AppleIntelCPUPM during the install method (Up to 28%). I tried downloading iAtkosv7 image from the net and followed its instructions with Darwin vmware image (It becomes stuck at gray loading screen, and I didn't know what to do with .toast image files since my Nero doesn't burn it and renaming it to an .iso file resulted in this). No matter what I do, it seems I will not be able to install this update without some help. Can anyone point me towards a good, step by step tutorial (for dummies if you will) that a beginner to Mac and vmware can understand? Because as far as I know, there are none! And even the ones that seem to explain step by step in a clear manner are not helping.

Thanks.
