alexbez
Please!!! I have tried toinstall OSX with Ideneb and Iatkos. On both of them when I enter the disk utility there is no hard drive or any partitions to choose from. What am I doing wrong? My computer is: Motherboard. ASUS p5VD2-VM which has a VIA P4M900 chipset Hard disk: SATA Samsung 320 Gb Video card: Nvidia 8400 GS DVD drive: LG GSA-H55N IDE What can I do to install OSX? Shloud I use a SATA DVD-ROM drive? Install a IDE hard disk? Or do I have to change my motherboard? If so, can my other components (DVD drive, hard disk, video card) be used or should I change them too? Thanks for anyone that helps..... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179142-help-cant-see-hard-drive-for-installation-of-osx/ Share on other sites
Mac_Dude
ok , I`m not involved in VIA Chipsets But best to stay with one , SATA - SATA , or IDE-IDE Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179142-help-cant-see-hard-drive-for-installation-of-osx/#findComment-1222115 Share on other sites
alexbez
ok , I`m not involved in VIA Chipsets But best to stay with one , SATA - SATA , or IDE-IDE I tried everything but nothing worked. Got tired of trying, bought a Gigabyte motherboard (G31M-ES2C) and everything worked fine. Thanks anyway!!!!
