tackle
I had planned to build a hackintosh with a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R since I've read good things about it and supposedly its firewire should work just fine. Here in Sweden where I live, it is being phased out already, so it's impossible to find. Just asking to see if anyone has a personal recommendation (yes, I HAVE read the HCL but it creates more questions than it answers) for a more recent motherboard that works 100% with OSX. Mainly, the board would be for a audio computer, running Logic and an audio interface on the firewire. CPU would probably be a Core Quad Q9550, either 8 or 16 GB ram. I've had some rough experiences with ASUS boards, but it seems that's mainly what's left to buy. TomCom
EU is a 500 million people market. Try to find one abroad, maybe on eBay.
