amorrelle Posted August 10, 2009 Share Posted August 10, 2009 I have an edimax 7728IN with a ralink 2860 chipset with the current driver (from ralink). The problem is I can't get above 1mb/s on my N network. My macbookpro gets normal n speeds (between 200 and 270 mb/s). This is rated as an N card. I made sure to change my router to 2.4ghz instead of 5 ghz as I read someplace the card can't work in 5ghz. This is a PCI card that apperently works for other people. Is there something I am doing wrong? Can someone recommend a usb or pci card that works well without the RALINK drivers (pos). I am also having problems with usb if that matters? Thanks!
