omerakca Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 i have a phenom system. phenom II X4 810 Foxconn a7da-s 4gb ram Nvidia 8600 gt i installed system without a problem but i can't install alc888 driver. i tried lots of drivers including azalia. tried voodoo hda too but voodoo gives sound like aliens.i can get sound but it freezes randomly and continues or it gets too slow or too fast. i tried iatkos v7 10.5.7, ideneb 10.5.6 same things happens when i install sound drivers. please help. everything is fine except my audio card. thanks SOLUTUON: it is about cpu speed. add flag to your kernel idlehalt=0 it will be ok. Hello, sorry to bother, I have the same motherboard A7DA-S, 4GB RAM as well but an AMD Phenom II X4 940 processor, exactly which BIOS configuration did you use and what installation method to get it working? I've been trying using iAtkos v7 with no luck. Thanks a lot!
