hey ive been trying to get kalyway to work for the past month and i couldnt so i got a new version from a differnt hacker which was better but i had trouble burning/installing ( gone throuh about 10 dvd's) but finaly i managed to install and now when i turn it on it has the chamelion thing and the mack booting blue bar and then it goes to a grey screen with the apple logo and it just freezes i left it for like an hour and it didnt change?

any help please thanks im a kind of noob with the whole mac thing atm.

(this is rouhly my specs)

im useing

amd athlon64x (or x64) 4000+ (dual core around 2.2/2.4 ghz)

asus motherboard

3gb ram ( one 1gb stick and one 2gb stick)

maxitor hard drive 40gb

dvd/dvd r/w 8x (maybe faster to be honist i dont know.

and a moherboard video card at 128mb ram (its pretty good for what it is)

Have you tried booting with the -v (verbose) option?

When the blue bar does its thing, press any key (that activates boot options). Type in -v and press Enter. Report back the last few lines.

What chipset? What kind of HD (PATA/SATA)? What make/model video card?.... U're gonna have to do some homework.

Hmm. the video driver might be causing a problem. maybe try booting with a -x (safe mode)
