AndyLad
Folks, I have managed to get my Advent Q6003 working perfectly with IATKOS v5.7. The computer uses a DG45ID motherboard, belkin 7050 USB ( No airport however) and a Nvidia 9400GT graphics card and an external 0.5Tb USB hard drive. I will be posting a complete description of my bios settings/drivers required as soon as I have rebuilt everything on a resized partition. HOWEVER. I scr3w3d up by creating a disk for the install of only 116 GB. I have found that all/most software seems to install on the installation drive, so for example I tried to install the iPhone SDK and ran out of space. My advice is create a big disk to allow for application installs I need to increase the size of the partition. After research HFS+ cant be resized easily so I used SuperDuper to create a backup on my external drive with the view of using disk utility to restore once I had repartitioned my internal drive. However the Disk utility on the IATKOS 5.7 install disk does not detect my USB drive. My USB drive is correctly picked up after a normal boot into OSX. Any ideas how I can detect the USB drive so I can do a restore ?
