Hi,

I hope any of you experts out there could help me with couple of problems I've been experiencing lately.

First off, I get this "cpu 0 caller 0x003A8B7E): m_type=2.."" or sometimes "cpu 1 caller 0x003A8B7E"MCHECK:

m_type=1..." panic every so often, say every 3-4 hours of running mostly while browsing internet.

And second, I also see this error message " extension org.tgwbd.driver.LegacyAppleAHCIPort is not loadable..."

while booting.

I've been searching through some posts, but found many of them go over my head. :)

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I'm on "iATKOS v7" with Acer Aspire 4720( C2D T5450 1,66Mhz, DDR2 667mhz 4gb, 250gb sata)

voodoo kernel 9.7.0, chameleon 2.

Well, between the first post and this one I'm writing, there have been two more kernel panics. :)

One of the error messages says" cpu 1 caller 0x003A3369):"m_free:freeing an already free mbuf"@/Extra/build/xnu-1..."

Besides, cpu is running at a lot higher temp, averaging 55-65C-according to temp monitor, but genericCPUPMControl says

it's 67-75c???

Please help. :)

There were two more panic and I was getting really annoyed, then I realize that this symptom's started after installing

ms-office, so I uninstalled it.

It seems O.K now, still temp is pretty high though.

I don't know what'd caused kernel panic, but after uninstalling office it seems alright! -_-

However, can anyone kindly explain why the temp readings between "temp monitor" and genericCPUPM..." are so

different?

It seems when "temp monitor" says cpu is running at 51C "genericCPUPM.."says 65C, which is more reliable? :)

Thanks anyway. :)
