priest20201
Hello All! I am having trouble installing IPC 10.5.6 PPF5 on my system. However, I am able to choose a partition, it completely loads the OS into the hard drive, and then goes to what I assume to be a restart to load the OS up. When it restarts, It shows the Apple logo, like it would in a normal boot of the system, then I get the RESTART ERROR!!! ! I feel I have done something right for it to get this far, so what could be possibly holding it back. I have a custom machine with the following specs: EVGA NF68 (Chipset NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI) Core 2 Quad Q6600, 2400MHz (9x267) Corsair 1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (I have 4GB of RAM, so four sticks) NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS; 640 MB (Running two in SLI) Creative Audigy 2 ZS (SB0350) Sound Card Realtek ALC889A @ nVIDIA nForce 680i SLI (MCP55PXE) (On-board sound) MAXTOR S TM3500630AS SCSI Disk Device TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182M ATA Device Logitech HID-Compliant Keyboard (This is cordless) Logitech HID-Compliant Cordless Mouse Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter Phoenix AwardBIOS v6.00 PG This is everything I can pull up in my system, so if I missed anything, please let me know, I am pretty good with computers but this is totally stumping me! I know the DVD is good because my friend sucessfully installed the OS on his system. Too bad his specs don't match mine more closely! Thanks to all for the help!!!
