Con -x è normale che non vada la rete, non vengono caricati i driver, comunque, che chip ha la tua LAN? (dovrai installarli, ovviamente se non li hai scelti durante l'installazione) Per l'italiano vai in Sytem Preferences/International e sposta italiano al primo posto. E' probabile un problema di scheda video. Io installerei iDeneb 1.5 che per la tua scheda video non ha problemi.
