Grub problems

Hi all,

 

I recently installed iDeneb v1.5 1057, on an external HD, as the installer refuses to recognize my internal one. I have Vista on my internal HD, and set up grub via EasyBCD. Now I have the problem that, whenever I try to boot into OSX it comes up with "error 30: disk read error". It show this message even when i boot into a nonexistent partition on that disk, instead of saying that that partition doesn't exist, like it does when I try nonexistent partitions on every other disk.

 

The commands I am using with Grub are here :

title MacOSX

rootnoverify (hd1,1)

makeactive

chainloader +1

 

So does anyone have any ideas of what is happening? (Or any alternatives that might work?)
