Hello, Everyone!

Sorry for my rusty English, but I need couple of answers to my questions before I'll get to install Hackintosh on my PC.

1. What is best to install, Kalyway 10.5.2 or iDeneb 10.5.7?

One year ago I was having Kalyway 10.5.2 with no installation problems.

2. I have two hard drives, on one I would like to install the Mac, and on the other Win xp.

For boot different OS I need use Chameleon 2.0 (what is a best RC1 or RC2)?

Is it working with both Kalyway and iDeheb?

3. When I was having Kalyway, I was having a trouble with share local networks.

From Mac reading Windows sharing folders everything was perfect,

but I was having trouble to see Macs shares folders from Windows.

Is there good solutions?

4. If I'll have two OS on a different hard drivers, how can I read them, form both OS mac and windows? For example:

In a moment I'm using windows and I need to read other hard drive for a file (picture, music and etc.) where I've got installed mac, how can I do it?

Thank you!

1. I'm not the most informed in this area so please forgive me if I'm wrong, but it shouldn't matter which districttion you choose. The iDeneb is already updated to the latest patch which may (if it installs well) save you some time and effort.

2. Chameleon RC2 is a better version to use since it is the most recent and stable version of the bootloader. Again I'm not positive, but it should work with both.

3. One solution you might try is to install macdrive on your pc. That may help you see the mac's share.

4. Your mac's drive will be able to read, but not write to, the windows hard drive. Installing macdrive in windows will let you read and write to the osx drive.

kingslaye505, thank you very much.

I diced to try install first iDeneb v1.5.1 10.5.7 Leopard and then [intel/AMD] iATKOS v7 10.5.7 (9J61).

I've got couple issues with hardware of mine,

1.) I'm using 2 hard drives - one from motherboard and second from CMD PCI-0649 Ultra DMA IDE controller.

2.) I'm using wireless card Belkin 802.11g PCI.

So what kext do I need to use?
