useless1
I've only recently dived into OSx86 full time last week, unlike a year ago when I used it briefly on different hardware. My recent install went ok, only had to install Eno's nForceLAN driver after OS X was installed. The only issue I noticed so far is that my CPU usage is at 100% all the time, and it will dip down to about 75% for a brief second every now & then. I've tried using Activity Monitor, Menu Meters, and atMonitor, they are all showing the same CPU usage. Dabluest
Open Activity Monitor and see what process is maxing out your CPU. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/178182-full-cpu-usage/#findComment-1217153 Share on other sites
useless1
Still not sure what was causing it, but i've done a fresh install using the updated iDeneb 1.5.1 and decided to try the Vanilla 9.7.0 kernel, Chameleon v2 bootloader, and DSDT patch. It all seems to run normal now. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/178182-full-cpu-usage/#findComment-1217907 Share on other sites
