So I finally got iDeneb 1.5.1 (10.5.7) installed on my HP DV7 1285DX laptop and I'm dual booting with Win 7. Everything worked perfectly fine after the installation (including video and audio even, the battery meter) except for USB and WiFi. I know that there is no software solution for WiFi yet (intel 5100 agn chip), however the USB problem is driving me nuts! Nothing gets detected! Not my mouse, not my iPhone, and not my iPod... Nothing... I tried installing the IOUSBFamily fix from the iDeneb dvd and it did not work. I read the I should try disabling USB Legacy Support in the BIOS however there's no such option (the BIOS in this model gives you almost no control)... When I boot with the -v command I get a weird error highlighted in yellow: 'Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPS2NUB.'

I also noticed the following error: USBF: AppleUSBUHCI: Unable to initialize UIM.

But OSX loads perfectly fine... My trackpad also works just fine and the weird thing is that my USB mouse did work during the OSX installation but won't work in the OS itself...

So is there anything I can try in order to fix this? I would truly appreciate any help!

Another update: I installed an older version of AppleAHCIPort.kext (version 1.1.0, I had version 1.6.0 originally) and I got USB fully working now! The only problem is that I lost my DVD drive, it doesn't show up anymore... Any suggestions?
