Beaswax1981
I have just finished my install of Iatkos v7 and everything works great except that the ram in the system profiler states that it has ddr2 ram and it actually has ddr3 ram . System Board: Intel DX58SO RAM: 6GB DDR3 Triple channel mem Any help would be greatly appreaciated. System only recognizes apple standard hardware but yours is probably working at full capacity. It is only a matter of misinterpreted values. Mac and a PC has a different approach in managing hardware. PC relays on BIOS, Macs relay on EFI. There are some helpers that interprets BIOS data to EFI data. This interpretation may be very inaccurate. Therefore such bugs as yours happen sometimes. Use a different AppleSMBIOS kext. O use SMBIOS.plist together with Chameleon.
