ldp2 Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 I do know that the 9800 GTX is fully compatible with the OSx86, while the GTX 285 isn't. Now, I do want OSx86, but what I want more is good GPU performance. I'd like to know whether in 2 months time, the GTX 285 will be compatible or not. If so, then it's all good, and I'll go with the GTX 285. If not, I want to know whether the 2 9800GTXs will perform better than the GTX 285. The former costs a lot less than the latter. I haven't been able to find any sort of benchmarks comparing these two, so I'd like someone to help me out with this.
