stupidideot911
Hey everyone at Insanely Mac, I've installed and MSIWindOSX86.ISO onto my lenovo desktop computer and upgraded the leopard version from 10.5.4 to 10.5.5. I've tried the Combo upgrade for 10.5.7 and lots of things start to not work such as the keyboard and the Ethernet ports. The same things happens if I try to upgrade it normally to 10.5.6. Pretty much everything is working in 10.5.5 for me except the web cam and the front Audio and Input sockets. Even the web cam is recognized after installing some drivers to the Library/Quicktime folder but the lights won't turn off..... . Oh well. I really need a method to keep all the configurations and drivers on the 10.5.5 while upgrading it to 10.5.7. I do not really mind which method it is be it the combo update or a normal upgrade from 10.5.5 to 10.5.6 and another one to 10.5.7. Also, almost everything besides photobooth and anything relating to the webcam is fully functional and i've yet to see anything else not work. I've also purchased a copy of a fake iLife 08 for my computer and it'll be arriving tommorow afternoon so I hope people can give many suggestions on how to upgrade to 10.5.7 without changing any drivers and retaining full functionality. PS. My computer is kind of old since i bought it 4 years ago so yeah.... Thanks! Luke.
