AcnupuH
Did anyone had a problem with AHCI Driver on Asus P6T Deluxe ? I've set bios to HT -> Disabled. Active Core -> 1 HDD -> AHCI Mode. Booted from install DVD success ( Boot options is: -v busratio=20 cpus=1) Installed successfully on disk0s2. Kernel -> Vanilla kernel 9.7.0 Video -> NVDarwin Audio -> Analog Devices AD2000B Fix: ACPI AHCI Then, i try to boot from HDD (same options ) and kernel cannot find any HDD disks at all. I try to boot second time. No boot options changed (i.e -v busratio=20 cpus=1). No success. (kernel still waiting root). Third time, with same options kernel found root and i booted os success. No change nor bios nor boot options is given. I think kernel randomly seeking for AHCI devices? Or maybe iDeneb has broken AHCI Driver? Besides, I also have Asus P5E Deluxe (Intel Core QUAD installed), and try to install and boot this osx distribution and have same troubles After all, i've applay DSDT patch. kernel forget about SATA HDD forever. I have tried about 15 times to boot system. Sorry for my bad English. with love from Russia! 8) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/177831-ideneb-151-troubles-with-ahci-driver/ Share on other sites
